Around and around...

Recent blog silence has been due to technical problems ... internet connections in the countryside are not as they should be but I refuse to become a slave to the screen. When the spinning circle of doom kicks in on the screen I would rather be spinning my wheel - it is far more productive!

Instagram has been easier to access so if you follow me that way you might have seen more activity.

My guru Dennis set me the challenge of throwing a number of identical bowls - all decorated the same.

Here are some of the first wave ... not quite identical in shape and form, but better than previous attempts. I went for a spiral theme but couldn't bear to make them identical!

Meanwhile I have been more successful throwing nearly identical bellied forms for lanterns and oil-burners, so the discipline of repetition throwing is starting to work.

As with any exercise or skill, it takes practice......
